Among the vehicles on display, the Bajaj Qute (CNG variant) received a lot of visitor attention.
The event showcased various other established automobile companies with their 2-wheelers, electric vehicles with chargers, hybrid and solar energy vehicles in the automotive industry. Globally renowned brands like BMW, Mahindra (EV division), Maruti Suzuki showcased their green vehicles, proving that the e-vehicle market in India has massive potential for growth with encouragement from the government. The International Green Mobility Expo 2017 was an excellent opportunity to create awareness for the Bajaj Qute and garner support for its online campaign: #FreeTheQute. At the Bajaj Intracity Stall, people eagerly had their pictures taken with the Qute while holding up placards with strong messages, to show their support for the Qute.
The pictures were later shared on the Facebook page of “Free the Qute” to showcase the love and support the little marvel garnered from the people. The album got an excellent response on social media channels with about 11,000 likes and 195 shares on Facebook. You may have a look at it here.
The Bajaj Qute is available in CNG, LPG and petrol variants. It is not only designed for commuting but also an environment friendly automobile that is low on CO2 emission. The CNG variant emits just 57gm/km of CO2 which is far better than the average CO2 emission of any other 4-wheeler on the roads i.e. 104.5 gm/km. With an engine capacity of 216.6 cc and being 37% lighter than the smallest car in the world, this little wonder is very spacious. This in itself is a dawn of a new season, a time to empower the roads and urge people to “Un-car the road” by driving an ecofriendly, lightweight and fuel efficient 4-wheeler.
Bajaj Auto continues to outperform itself by pioneering environment friendly commercial vehicles in India. With the introduction of the Qute, a green initiative transport solution, Bajaj Auto Limited has once again proved that it is truly technology centric and among the world’s leading innovative automobile manufacturers by always been future ready.
